SPEAKING TUBE (1890's intercom)
Anonymous (not verified)

My wife and I own a Queen Ann Vivtorian home that was built in 1895. We have worked very hard over the last 2 years renovating the old girl but we still have a few pieces of unfinished business. Particularly, we have been looking high and low for (2) mouth pieces for the home's original intercom or speaking tube system. The system has one end of a 1" tin pipe located in the kitchen and the other end located in the 2nd floor hallway. This was used by the servants of the original owners. They would use it to communicate from the two locations without having to physically move to that location.

We have been looking for (2) mouthpieces for the two openings. Any and all help in locating these items would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You in advance,
