Smell under kitchen sink
Johnnie1952

We have an awful smell under the kitchen sink. Can't figure out what it is, we have tried everything, baking soda, vinegar, cleaned the pipes, the disposal. Cleaned the vent going to the outside, looked under the house etc and the smell still is here. Anyone have a response?

Not all smells created equal. What kind of smell is it?

Could be a drain leak, could be a fresh water leak, could be mold, could be a dead small animal, could be something coming off the soil - could be many other things.

From my computer seat, I don't detect any odor.

Most common odor is mildew, created by moisture. If your cabinet floor has any water damage what-so-ever, this is likely the source of the odor. Replace the floor then seal the inside of the cabinet completely with polyurethane. Got formica counter tops? Check the ring around the sink, any moisture gets under the formica results in mildew and swelling of the formica substrate.

Could be other issues as well, though like DJ stated, not much we can offer from the other side of a computer screen.
