shower drain is blocked, need to clean, but can't
the shower drain is blocked, but there's no screw on it to open
the brand name is Rockwell, see picture
how should it be opened? Thanks!
I belive that is a screw in. You put a screw driver in the center slot to turn it.
That does sound right - it might be too old and rusty to turn though. How should it be replaced, what kind of parts should I look for, maybe size? do I need to use exactly the same brand name and type? Thanks!
I would try pouring CLR areund the thread slot and allow to soak in. It could take a couple of days to disolve the lime buid up in the threads. If you do break it, the replacement would need to be the same diamiter and have the same thread counf.
