Re: Shower Base

Check with your local Home Depot or Lowes. In the bath departments, they can order you a custom made sower stall from the Corian type material. Its not cheap like a fiberglass base would be but they may be able to make one with the drain where you want it.

There is one more alternative not mentioned here and that is a step up shower stall. Build a 2x4 base, then make a drain from the center of the new base to the location of the current drain. Then install your new fiberglass base on top of this and then the surround or tile.

Be sure to waterproof everything, but that goes without saying, right?

Re: Shower Base

Mr Rodgers is making a bunch of postings to advertise his ****** business, which has no printed physical address.

Just sayin.

Re: Shower Base

Amen Houston!

Besides, in this electronic age, why should you pay for expert "how to" information. I just entered "install shower base pan" in the search box of You Tube and got literally dozens of good videos on how to do such a project.

Many good firms now take advantage of You Tube to promote their products and dispence valuable information in the process.

Also, many firms, some of them mentioned in above posts, have valuable videos and information on their own websites.

Long live Google and its search engine!
