Sewer problem

The problem that I have experienced is that the two toilets that I have, have been kind of like back firing with sewage and then draining. The first thing that happens is that the water does not want to drain. Then after a few minutes it happens. This is on a septic tank system. Does anyone have any solutions? The sewage does over flow in both toilets, not to much.

Thank you,
Richard Amador

When was the last time your septic tank was pumped out?

Sounds like the water has no place to go or can't go through because of a blockage.

If your septic tank is full, have it emptied. If it's not full, run a snake.

The baffle at the tank may be clogged also. Years ago we used to routinely wash clothes with powdered detergent and cold water. The detergent solidified on the baffle and made a nice plug that had to be chipped out.
