security storm door, brick moulding

I have a brick sided house. I am shopping a new front door, and would like to have a security storm door added.

I was looking at the aluminum screen door that is currently on the front entry, and it appears to be screwed into the brick moulding rather than the jamb. I downloaded the installation instructions for the security storm door that I want on the new setup and it seems to be similarly attached... to the brick mould rather than the jamb.

I took a look at the prehung entry doors in stock at the big box retailers, and the brick mould is lightly attached with brad nails or some other tack, like it is not secured to the jamb for the installer to easily remove during installation.

My question is, how should the brick mould be attached so that when the security storm door is mounted and attached, someone couldn't just pull the security storm door off with the brick mould?

I see that the brick mould is not lined up with the door jamb, does it screw into the jack stud or king stud of the rough door opening?
