rotary tool

Does anyone know who make this rotary tool, what it is used for and are there any accessories? Think of it as a Dremel on steroid. The orange button on top locks the chuck. The blue band in the middle is the on/off switch. You twist it to the left and lock it with the orange button for on. The orange button on the bottom is the speed control. The cord is detachable.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Re: rotary tool

Check the woodworking magazines, especially for woodcarving. Rockler.com, woodcraft.com are just a couple. you can also try resourcedigest.com on line.

Calcats ;)

Re: rotary tool

Is there nothing stamped in the case? Measure the collet and that should tell you if Dremel tools will work.

Re: rotary tool

There is nothing printed on the tool, the label is missing. The collet is too large for dremel accessories, although it can be changed.

I have since found out that it could be the electric version of a die grinder. I would love to know who maker is; it is a well built tool.

Thanks everyone.
