Restoring Period Floor Tile

My wife and I have recently acquired a 1925 colonial. The bathroom floor is covered in beautiful 1" x 1/4" thick hexagonal tile that seems, to me, to be original to the house. It is white and unglazed. As we are planning to restore this floor, we are hoping that you can help us find a distributor of these for replacement. All of our research has lead us to the typical bright glazed versions on mesh backing. We prefer to track down exact copies that are sold by the piece, rather than in mesh sheets, but will take any that we can find. In addition, the original tile floor currently exists underneath a sheet of roll-out Congoleum flooring that is glued down... Any advice for removing this and cleaning off any adhesive?Thank you for your time and consideration!

 Thanks
