Replacing shower floor in condo

Hi -

A few questions, please...

I want to replace the shower floor in my second floor condo. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to get access to under the subfloor to work on the plumbing.

The current drain is centered, and I plan to get a new floor that's the same, or close to the same size. Any advice on how to deal with the plumbing?

Also, I measured the current shower floor, and it comes out to about 46" wide and 31" deep. These don't seem like typical measurements for shower floors, but I know that some of the floor is probably behind the backerboard/tile. Would 48" by 32" be about right for a new floor?

Thanks a lot everyone
