replacing gas water heater

My gas water heater is 11 years old. It is working fine. Should I consider replacing it because of its age? Or should I run it until it breaks down and starts to leak?

Re: replacing gas water heater

if it is heating water then why fix it Just be ready when it does go out. Hopefully not on a weekend or holiday
