Replace/Repair 1930s' bathroom wood flooring.

Houston, I have a problem...
Our house was built back in the 1930s'. For approximately 15 years before we moved there were no repairs done. While the previous residents lived here, they would slosh water out of the tub while bathing. Now one corner of the tub is sinking thru the wood floor and into the basement. It's an old claw footed bathtub of course. What is the best/easiest way to repair this or, would it be easier to replace the whole floor?
And finally... what would be the best place to start?
