refinishing tub

Hello,
I'm a professional painter with a little time on my hands so the "Boss" has put me to work on the house! After watching/reading content on tub refinishing I've 3 questions.
1. What options do we have for commercial acid based cleaners required in the washing, (first), step of this process? We do desire to use the most effective product if possible.
2. What product is used as the acid etching paste & where might this product be purchased?
3. Which coatings are best for primer, (if necessary), & top coats? I did talk with my dealer & it was recommended that a self primimg urethane epoxy coating was best.
Any info would be helpful & Thanks

Re: refinishing tub

tub refinishing is best left to a pro. the materials are extremely expensive and most suppliers wont sell them to you unless you are a pro refinisher like I am. By the time you buy all the stuff, if you even could, it would be more expensive than hiring someone.

Re: refinishing tub

Thanks resurfacespecialist but I'm a little familiar with an HVLP & the stock will not break the bank, so I think I'm game to try. If anyone is interested I did find some info on my own. I'm sure there are other companies but you might like to start with http://www.napcoltd.com/
I haven't contacted them just yet but it looks like they have everything to handle the questions I had on stock. Good Luck!
