Refinishing floors under built-ins with short legs

We are going to renovate the kitchen and would like to keep the original wood floors under the linoleum if we can. I like the look of some cabinet components that have short legs, like in the attached photos.

So several years down the road when the floors need re-doing, how is it possible to refinish underneath these kinds of pieces? I don't mean completely underneath, but at the same time you can't just stop at the front edge. The space is too small for palm or belt sanders and most brushes or applicators...

Hand-scraping and block (hand) sanding.
There is a type of edger (disc sander) with an offset head for going underneath radiators,etc., but that may be overkill for furniture-legged kit cabs.
