raise porch columns

I have a porch with 3 columns sitting over 12"x12"x36"high mason brick footings on the corners and a 12"wX9"deepx36"high in the middle. The metal roof(with a slight pitch) has a built in gutter with the downspouts at the house. It has settled so much that the water runs over the facia and onto the stairs and hand rail causing the paint to peel and ice to form on the steps. The columns are not rotted and the framing is good also. I was thinking of using a basement post to raise the columns to replace the existing plinths(12x12x1 1/2 square blocks) with PT 2x12 squares and also adding atleast one additionl block under each column. Can I do this? Will this cause problems where it is connected to the house? How high can I raise it at one time?

ps new member hello all and any advice would be appreciated.
Got laid off so I can't afford to rebuild it.
