Radiators vs convectors for hot water heating; pex vs copper

I am getting a new hot water heating system put in my home. I bought an old 1937 home with poor insulation and single pane windows. I'm struggling with figuring out the best heating option as the home does not have a heating system.

Baseboard is the cheapest to install. It seems cast iron baseboards are better than traditional copper line baseboards. I understand that baseboards are convectors but are cast iron radiators able to also deliver radiant heat?

I don't want the old style free standing radiators. There are radiators now with covers. Does that make them less effective or more of a convector than a radiator?

I like the Myson select radiators which appear to be the most affordable of the steel panels. Do these require any special qualifications to install?

Finally any opinions on pex vs copper?
