Radiant heat and flooring

Can you put real wood flooring down with radiant heat?

Re: Radiant heat and flooring

Why not? I have heard concerns about subjecting the wood to the heat, but it is a very gentile heat. My understanding is that wood is affected by changes in temperature, not the actual temperature. I would suspect that radiant heat would actually provide a more stable temperature for the wood than other types of heat.
