We recently read that radiant heat in the floor can be converted to cooling by running cool water through the lines during summer months. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yes you can but you will have cold feet and hot head. The best way to have radiant cooling and heating is installing micro capillary tubes inbeded in the ceiling. This way you can have radiant cooling AND heating by just changing the water temperature summer/winter. :)

Re: Radiant cooling

The benefit is depending on the location and conditions .... especially if you have to include additional air conditioning equipment.
