Questions not getting any response

Sence the take over by the new management the response for information on how to has dropped.

There seams to be no one left to respond and help with DIYer getting  answers? It maybe time for management to contact some of the old timers that were here to respond to TOH DIY Forum. What help does this forum provide it the questions don't an answered?

Andy i do not have a question i have been a forum member for a couple of years and do not understanding why the request for info was not receiving an answer.  Before the new management most all questions had more than one response from people that seamed to have a vast knowledge of construction. Why did they leave this forum?

Clarance,

Mostly likely because they were not able to login one day, and they tried a few more times, and then gave up. I have been on here for a few years myself. Perhaps they do not know the site is back up and running again. I do like your suggestion for the site admin. That would be nice to have other opinions, experience and practices on performing tasks.

I enjoy problem solving, so I try to give answers that I know will work, that are safe, and follow the national code. Some of my answers are not what the person wants to hear. But I grew up doing everything right the first time, that way it never had to be worked on again. I use the highest quality materials that I can purchase, and follow the best practices.

I also like solving problems, but my experence starting at 18 was a crew Chief on a B-47 bomber don't do it wright someone dies. Than after 21 years went into the plaster & Stucco trade did very well with it worked for 40 years and completed many Historical projects, most of the structures i worked on dated back to 1700 / 1860 after this date i would consider it a new structure. I can answer questions on Brick repointing, Plaster & Plaster cornish and Stucco but it's stops here. There are other forums out there that get many questions on many topics that have many responses yet this TOH gets fewer questions and maybe no response, so i was wondering why the admin. didn't reach out to try to bring they back?
