Probs w/siliconized caulk eating windows?

Anyone heard of problems w/silicone eating away at the inside of the window? Some window installers have told me that they are no longer using siliconized caulk for this reason.

Wow i've never heard of this. I've always used 100% silicon caulking around window frames. Please reply to this if you find out more...i'll be replacing my windows soon and would like to know if this is an issue.
