I would agree with most of the above comments. To this I would add that the overall color scheme is kind of blah. How about painting out all the fascia and gable trim with an accent color, possibly that which is being used on the shutters. Painting the fascia across the porch also would also help tie it into the house. Both aluminum and plastic trim can be painted, however, dark colors on plastic is asking for heat distortion. The base color on the house is not personally objectional to me. It is the lack of an accent color on the general trim. You shoud highlight arcitectural those architectural features that the house does have.
That awning over the door might be nice in the rain, but it is not very attractive.
The entrance door itself and stormdoor?) is too plain. How about a premium entry door with some interest to it? Wooden ? Sidelights?
