This is an odd one. Never had this happen before.
Bought a 8 year old house. They installed 3 (ugly) pendant lights over the kitchen peninsula. After living here about a month, one bulb went out. I replaced it, but it turned out to be the fixture (tested with different bulbs). Since I hate these particular pendants anyway, I blew it off thinking I would replace all 3. So I was down to two.
Fast forward 6 months. The second pendant light now stopped working. Not the bulb. Nothing seems loose in either pendant, but I did not pull apart the fixtures at the ceiling yet to check wire nuts.
So now I need to replace the pendants since I can't see, but thought I would post here first since I would rather muddle along with them as I am most likely going to turn the peninsula into an island and turn it sideways. Anyone have a guess as to what I should check first? There is no issue with the electicity in the rest of the kitchen. And the remaining pendant is working fine.
Thanks in advance.
