pedestal sink with plumbing in the floor?

We have a tiny bathroom and would like to exchange the vanity there for a pedestal sink to help make the room look not so small. The plumbing currently comes up into the vanity from the floor. Can you install pedestal sinks where the plumbing is in the floor instead of the wall? Every installation link I can find only shows instructions for how to do it where plumbing comes out of a wall.

Re: pedestal sink with plumbing in the floor?

If it's the waterlines use you can as long as they don't interfere with the placement of the base. It just doesn't look as good. If it's the drain probably not unless you can find a pedestal sink with and open base. Have you considered a wall mount sink or a legged sink
