Paver driveway & walks, to seal or not to seal

I had a concrete paver driveway and walks installed in March of this year and they are holding up very well so far. :D What I would like to do is seal them with a "wet look" sealant.

I have read that the concrete pavers need time for some substance to leech out of them before sealing. Since we've had a VERY dry year here in VA since they were installed, should I wait a while to seal them so that this chemical can leech out of them? If I seal them too soon, will the chemical that leeches out eventually dis-color them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Paver driveway & walks, to seal or not to seal

Come on folks! 414 views and no responses? :( The driveway and walks have been down for a year now and though they do still look great, I want to seal them with a wet look sealant. I just don't know if all of some mysterious chemical has leeched out of them yet. As I mentioned before, they are colored concrete pavers. :D
