Painting edges of exterior steel door question

I am painting the outside and inside of my new exterior steel door different colors and understand how to choose which colors go on the edges. However, unlike previous exterior doors I've had with the edges being completely flat, these doors I bought, besides having the flat piece, have the back and fronts wrapping around to the edge side. My question is when I paint my latch side edge to match the inside color I want, will the outside wrapped part of the edge be the same color or do I paint it the outside color? And same ? for the hinge side edge - do I paint the inside wrapped edge to match the inside door color (since it is easily seen)? I have scoured the internet but cannot see examples of this on this type of door edge using different paint colors.

Thank you for any advice!

Re: Painting edges of exterior steel door question

I this this is more of personal preference. Paint it what ever color you like, stand back and take a look. If you don't like it, change it

But one thing I will comment on, make sure that you sand all surfaces that you are covering. Use a good quality oil based primer and paint.
