I live in a Art and Craft style home,(Built in 1925)and we have been doing some remodling and we have found that when we painted the walls, that the paint would not stick. If the paint dried it would bubble and pull away from the wall. We have lathe and paster through the house and we have discovered that there is a blue paster on the paster. This blue paster when you touch it will come off like a powder on your hands. We have washed the walls and tried painting again and the paint will not stick to the walls. Do you have any idea what this blue powder is and what we could do. We are thinking that we may have to remove the lathe and paster, we are trying not to go to that extreme. If we could find a paint or something that would work I would like to know. The paint stores in our area don't have a clue to what it is. Help! Thank you, Karen Monson
