Painted Kitchen cabinets

I'm in the process of painting my kitchen cabinets. I removed the doors, cleaned, sanded, primed and painted. I used a latex semi-gloss paint. When attempting to re-hang the doors, I noticed scuff marks on the doors from lining up the hinges and just holding/moving the doors around. The paint isn't chipping, but the marks are not wiping off. Should I finish the doors with a clear polyurethane? My fear is that just this little bit of moving around made scuff marks.. what is going to happen when I start "living" in my kitchen again?

Any suggestions??

Re: Painted Kitchen cabinets

How long ago did you do the painting?

Paint drys in about a day, but takes a good 3-4 weeks for it to harden.

Its been about 2 weeks since I painted the doors. I knew it took awhile for the paint to fully cure, but I figured 2 weeks was long enough.
