paint drips on walls...how to correct?

I'm sure it's simple, but not sure how to proceed:

We painted our bathroom ceiling with exterior paint to protect from shower moisture (ceiling slopes over shower area). There are some small drips from the ceiling paint onto the walls. How do I remove the drips and patch the walls to repaint these areas without creating more of a mess (i.e. obvious patches of repair area)? I already painted over the drips after some slight sanding, and it is sub-par (as in you can tell the textures are off), but not horrible. I don't want to make it worse...

Re: paint drips on walls...how to correct?

Hmmm....ok. So, should I paint over the exterior ceiling paint with interior paint? Will that help with the VOC issue? What should we use for the ceiling since it gets wet in the shower?

Thanks for your help!
