I have white aluminum drip edges (probably baked on enamel) and white aluminum cladding around basement trim and sill.
The trim to the home is a tan color. Therefore, I would like to paint both the drip edges and the aluminum cladding.
A painter friend of mine said it is not possible. If you paint it, the paint will peel off in the next 6 months to 2 years after a few rain storms and a New England winter.
Please let me know your thoughts. I was going to use an acrylic paint.
