old tongue and groove ceiling

1945-ish home in good shape. however one bedroom has a place in ceiling that is slightly buckled. can i jack-up ceiling to smooth out buckle and place long screws in rafters to fix? i really need some help here.

I would think so as long as there aren't any issues in the board or rafters. Don't screw them really tight to the rafter but counter sink the screw heads and fill in the divot with putty.

That depends on what you mean by "slightly buckeled" ( Pictures would help).I would say the first order of business would be getting into the attic and seeing what's going on.
