Old Plumbing

We are looking at buying this house that was built in 1924. We would like to do most of the work ourselves to save money. There are 2 full and 2 half baths all with the original fixtures..e.g. the toilet is tankless and the flusher for it is located on the sink. weird. Anyways I need an idea of how much it would be to upgrade all the plumbing to be able to support my jet tub and other newer fixtures. Do you have to replace it or can it just be re-vamped?
