Old Basement Condo Fan

I just got a "new" condo, which is a basement unit. The building was built back in the early 70s. Anyways, the fan in the master bathroom just isn't cutting it. Lots of steam is left in there, and I'm starting to get some nasty mold.

The existing unit is an odd size, about 9in x 9.25in so I'm thinking about replacing the whole unit with a larger one. That'll mean cutting the ceiling, which I'm ok with. But from what I've read, to mount a fan, I'd need access to an attic. Being a basement condo, I have no such thing.

Anyways, any tips and advice on fixing my ventilation problems?
Thanks so much!

Re: Old Basement Condo Fan

It might be the fan but you also have to consider the ducting. maybe the ducting is obstructed or to small.
