New Valve

Hello everyone at TOH. I'm new here but my problem may not be. My house is only 3 years old. My problem started about 2 weeks ago when the hot water in the kitchen stopped working. First thing was checked was the faucet. The cold water was still working. I then checked the shut off valves. I have never seen this type of shut off valve before. It's the plastic push in pop out type. The hot water side pops out by itself when the water is off for a while. Is it a faulty valve? Do it need to be replaced? If so how hard is it to replace? Thanks for any reply.

Re: New Valve

If it's a plastic valve with a round plastic nob the pulls out then replace them both. There junk. As far as what to use I would have to know what type pipe you have.

Re: New Valve

I'm surprised your "new" home came with these angle stops.
