New threashold for French Door

I have a French style patio entry door; it is the type that one door opens and the other door is just stationary. I would like to know if it is possible to replace the entire metal threshold. It has become apparent that I can no longer get the bottom threshold seal and the floor adjacent to the doors shows some water staining. Any help or info will be appreciated.

It's possible, in most cases.

Another option is to replace the bottom weather stripping at the bottom of the doors.

I don’t think any of us could give you a helpful answer. You’d need to get a contractor to look at it and see what can be replaced. We recently had our sliding patio doors replaced by Champion Windows, Seattle. They did a great job and I think they do repair work as well. Check them out. They’ll give you a free in-home estimate and even if you don’t use them, they might be able to help you out with some professional advice.
