My First Home - 1900s Bungalow

Just wanted to post a big Hello to everyone on the board. I just recently closed on my first home. It's a Bungalow built in 1900 that is in need of some serious updating. We're documenting our progress on our blog (check my signature) and will definitely be active members of this board.

The home itself is very original (in all the good and the bad ways!) and we're planning on a long rennovation. Our goal is to keep as much of the originality as we can while also making it our own.

Any help really nailing down the type of Bungalow we have is appreciated. It doesn't look like any of the kit homes from the era which is unfortunate because it makes it hard for us to figure out what it originally looked like. We're planning on removing the horrible awnings and storm windows closing in the front porch soon as the weather warms up. The original windows are in fantastic shape and I plan on stripping, reglazing and tuning each and every one of them up over the next couple of years. :D

Looking forward to comments from the board!
