Moving W/D hookups

I'd like to move my washer/dryer to the next room - about 2 yards from where it is currently located. Do I contact a plumber to do this?? What cost can I expect?

Thank you!

Yep, if you're not experienced with plumbing, the plumber is going to be your best bet. The water supply lines are not such a huge deal, but the drain line will have to be pitched properly in order for the washing maching to drain properly. Price will depend on any number of things...such as structure, ease of access, etc. You will also need to consider extra cost for moving the electrical and/or gas lines as well. Get a couple of estimates and go from there.
