Mosaic Type Tile with More Color Options as to a Pattern like White with Charcoal Gray Color Pattern?
MMeehan

I am in the process of looking for options as to tile for soon small bathroom remodel. I have only found mosiac tile white with a black pattern in it but few other options as to possible colors like charcoal gray in a Pattern. Or is it you have to remove the black tiles and replace them with the color you are looking for and does any of the tile companies offer single tiles to change the color to what you are looking for or is it limited to just Black? (Like Diatile Pattern "Octogon with Black Spots"?) Or am I asking too much? The bathroom is about 8 ft x 4 ft which includes a bath tub (30 inch wide x 60 x 15 ) Does anyone know of a website that shows possible options og small 2 x 2 or smaller tiles with optional colors for floor and maybe wall tile for inside the shower?

Just starting to look at possible tile options.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can provide some info and options that might be out there and available.

I work inside the design industry and sold tile in a showroom I used manage.  I haven't sold tile in several years now though, so I am uncomfortable directing you to manufacturers as I do not know their current offerings, your budget, or what is available locally in your area.  That said, each tile manufacturer will have different offerings and the more "streamlined" budget conscious lines will offer few color options with regard to the dot inserts.  Additionally if you are looking in a box store, manufacturers that are shown there often times also sell to smaller independent showrooms; but the offerings in those smaller showrooms will typically be a bit more expansive and of a higher quality.  For a pinwheel or basketweave tile with a dot, they will typically not be shown on a display board with a matching wall tile but on a board specializing in mosaics.  Those mosaic styles generally refer to historic patters so a classic 4x4, 6x6, or subway will usually look best with them.

The best thing to do is go to the local showroom for a company that specializes in tile.  Ask to speak to one of their designers/sales people.  Designers in those showrooms can help pull the right products for you to get a great wall & floor combo, and can and help you match the grouts and thresholds as well.  Good Luck!

Thanks... I know others that have visited Supplier's Showrooms and did not find what i was also looking for. as my older house was built in the 1940's and I guess finding something in different colors and patterns will but a lot of searching as I heard tile is never easy when you looking for something that is not common as much as iy was and yet the tile looks like mosiac but was not just pieces put down by hand and gouted... Guess I will keep searching as most websites are vague at best to tiles like this.

Had to try and ask what might be around guess it will be a long search...
