I bought a house built in 1946 in Princeton, New Jersey. The furnace is "an oldie" as everyone workman who has come through exclaims. They all agree it is strong and works well, but it is undoubtedly not efficient. No one could figure out how old it is, so, being a history teacher, I did some research. It is called a Mor Sun Pressed Steel Furnace, and was orginally oil but has been converted to gas. It is forced air. The company was from Buffalo, NY. I believe the one in my house is the original - 75 years old! I have some images from vintage advertisements/catalogs. I would like to know if this is valuable to anyone? Are there museums for stuff like this? Thank you.
