Loud bang and vibration after check valve discharge

The Check valve connected to my sewage ejector pump is installed vertically on the discharge pipe 3 feet from the floor, then the pipe continues up another 3 feet to a 90 degree elbow connection, after that the discharge pipe goes vertically for 5 feet into the wall.
Every time the pump operates and the check valve closes it makes a very loud bang and the vibration can be heard and felt upstairs.
What can be done to lessen this noise.

There are many different type check valves available. I would call Zoeller's 800# and give them the specifics on your set up they should steer you in the right direction.
