linear shower drain

we're remodeling to make bathroom handicap accessible. want to make the shower completely barrier free w/ ability to roll in on 2 sides. want the floor of the shower same as bathroom floor. how is floor sloped using a linear drain?
will probably use marble tile.

There are quite a few of these drains now available in the U.S. market. You may need to use some different search terminologies to find all the different manufacturers.

You want to install the drain about a half inch below the level of the floor, then from about 6 inches outside the shower curtain slope to it. May be easiest if the drain is along one wall only. Still need to have a trap in the line out, as close to the trough as possible.

I bet you will get the same if you flush the toilet as well,
This is known as cold mains pressure over riding the hot.Cured by popping a PRV on the Cold supply pipe work.
