Lighting for vanity

My wife and I pulled down our medicine cabinet that had the lights attached to it. We replace with a new one with no lights. Since the other had the lights attached the electrical wire went right to the lights. All the new lights we have looked at have a center mount that is supposed to mount to an electrical box. Don't want to put a hole in the wall and put a box up which would make the light off-center. Any other way around this?

Thanks,

Re: Lighting for vanity

1. If you have a ceiling vent, replace with a fan and light combo.

2. Go back to a medicine cabinet with lights.

3. Attach an LED fixture to the med cabinet, concealing the wires.

Maybe others have more ideas.
