Kitchen sink coming loose

This isn't really a plumbing question but I didn't know where else to post it so hopefully someone can give me some insight. Our kitchen sink which is an older large white porcelain sink is sliding around in its opening. I assume that this would be an easy fix of removing the sink and reattaching with more adhesive??? Is this so? Is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks
Kate

I would check to make sure water hasn't rotted any of the countertop around the sink. If that checks out and seems structurely sound, you should just be able to disconnect the drains and faucet water lines and remove the sink. Clean any old caulk/putty off the sink and counter and re apply a thick bead of high quality silicone caulking around the sink opening and drop the sink back in. Hope that helps.

mabe you need some more sink clips. you take out the sink and clean it up put new caulk around the hole true but you got to climb under the sink and put the clip holders back and turn the screws. you got to get a lot of them to hold the sink tight for both sinks.
