Kansas City Area Secret

There is an open to the public warehouse in Grandview, Mo that has all kinds of building materials. It's called Patriot Surplus, just off 71 at Blue Ridge Blvd. They have a lot of surplus items such as lighting and flooring and they also carry alot of running line items as well. It's kind of dirty and not really organized but I think that's what gives it the "secret source" feel.

Any of it considered "architectural salvage" or are we talking old 2X4s and gallons of mis-int paint (screwups). Is any of it good stuff?

Almost all of the products are new. Some products are discontinued, such as lighting but they also carry a lot of current products such as tile, carpet and hardwood flooring.

Howdy , might you know of where in the KC area one can obtain limestone cut into shapes for retaining walls or wall caps?
Thanks for the hidden treasure too.

I've been to this Patriot Surplus. They do have lots of stuff. It's kind of like going to Home Depot, but it's much less organized. What they lack in organization structure, they more than make up for in pricing. GREAT DEALS. I bought some 18x 18 travertine for my kitchen remodel from there. I saved thousands over the next closest bid.
