Insulating a front porch ceiling in a row home

I am looking for advice regarding insulating a porch ceiling in my row home. The porch ceiling is directly underneath one of my bedroom floors and the bedroom is freezing during winter. The porch ceiling has been redone very recently and so we are trying to find an option that doesn't require throwing out and breaking all these beautiful new materials that were put in, which we think will inevitably happen if all the wood needs to be removed to put in insulation, since they used individual bead boards to cover the ceiling. Currently there is no insulation whatsoever in the ceiling. I saw some posts around blow out insulation, but since the room above it is not an attic, I am not sure if that would be an option.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
