Installing laminate- problem with sloping floor

I am installing a Shaw Laminate floor in my house- second story, frame second floor, CBS beneath. 15x30 dining/family area is level. As i enter living room, floor slopes down, parallel with the alignment of the laminate, 1" over 5', then levels off at -1" from dining area. Living area floor is relatively level at -1". Floor gradually slopes back up over 6' in a hallway back up to "0". Problem is floor joists in living area span from higher CBS to load bearing framing. Joist are 2x12 16" O.C. Subfloor is 3/4" plywood. Laminate is floating

What do you recommend- can i go ahead and lay (is slope gradual enough), should i lay down plywood over living area to bring up height to level (if so what type of plywood is recommended). SHould is seam the floor at the high point (rather not since i'd rather not have a transition running across living area.

Thanks very much for your help. See diagram for info
