We have a humidity problem in our basement, and would like to get rid of it. A dehumidifier is to expensive to add to each room. The dehumidifier is expensive in original cost and the electricity it uses.
I recently read about a system called 'The Wave System' which removes air from the level of the basement floor to the level above grad to the outside of the home. It is claimed to work for the whole basement.
It appears to be a large PVC pipe which sets just off the basement floor a few inches. Uses a fan to move the air up to an outlet that exhausts above grad. Has a system that reads the air for humidity. Does not use a great amount of electricity as a dehumidifier would use.
Has anyone had experience with the 'The Wave System'?
