How to insulate floor over crawlspace in a remodel

I am tearing out a floor that is over a crawlspace (a tiny one at that) and when I frame things back I want to insulate the floor.

If I recall from my teachings, the vapor barrier needs to be to the heated side, so couldnt I use a faced R30 placed in the floor joists from the top and then lay sub floor over it?

Thanks

Kyle

Howdy, do not use faced insulation instead use R22 fiberglass with no vapor barrier as it will not trap moisture. To keep mine from falling down i staplet the pink survey string across the joists about every 3 feet. worked real good.
