Too late.

It's a done deal, I'm afraid.

The camel is already inside the tent.

Duck and cover.

Absolutely. Humor is a no-no. We don't want anyone to chuckle or grin.
Laughter is a bad thing. Frowning our way thru life is far preferable.
Pharmaceutical companies get to sell way more meds that way.
Think I'll pick up some more shares while the market is beaten down.

I can go rescue some Emperor penguins with the profits.

Re: High Electric Bill

I'm really concerned about what's for lunch.

Whatcha all have'n? Or, had?

I went to an El Polo Loco a couple days ago. The people in line were ordering in Spanish. I asked if it would be okay to order in English and got a blank look. Darn good thing they had a picture menu! I just pointed out what I wanted.

I hear ya loud and clear, Kent.

Don't relish it either (no lunch pun intended). Don't wanna turn this into a political thread, so nuff said for the time being. (This place needs a "tavern" where most anything can be discussed/argued. What's one more catergory when ya got what........38 now?)

If you're standing in a long line to get lunch......wait for an IPO and buy....about two weeks to a month after they go public. Evidently there aren't public yet cause I can't find a listing.

Re: High Electric Bill

Wow........... Watched the video while munching on a chicken salad so I'm no longer concerned about lunch, for those of you who were concerned for me or had your own lunch concerns.

Very informative and learned something new. Nuff said.

My new concern is that out of an office that usually is staffed by 11 people only the bookkeeper and me are here today. On the other hand I'm also concerned with how I'm going to man this giant job I landed this morning.

I'm going to concern myself with getting submittals rounded up this afternoon.

Any other concerns out there?

Yeah. I have some similar concerns to yours. As in.......how am I gonna complete all the fair-weather work I have lined up once the weather breaks and I can get out there to it? Landed another complete kitchen and bath redo two days ago. Well, actually it was foisted upon me. Kinda one of those,.....can't say "no" deals. Don't really want it that bad and don't know how I'm gonna fit it in before the snow flies again.

Another big dump of snow here today which means more hours on the tractor with the blower and the skidder. Pays nada. Just a pain in the butt. Maybe I'll have a couple tacos when I get done.

Re: High Electric Bill

Funny, I have just about the opposite problem. Starting April 15 We shut down a 9 story condo in a CO ski resort town, redo the mechanical infrustructure, as well as work in all of the units and open it up before the snow flies again next winter.

Hey, go find your self some of this stuff to put on your tacos. Straight from Mexico the stuff is awesome.
