Help! Ext Doors wont fit, brick house

Just bought 3 New Exterior doors for our 60 year old Brick house.

Installed the front door fairly easily. Got to the Side and back doors (Den, used to be garage) and realize that both door jams were custom cut into the brick. They are measuring about
78in vs 82in. Was told the only thing to do is repair existing doors and frames, because they are metal doors and cannot be cut down, and even if we exchanged for wood doors, they arent really solid wood, and if you cut too much off the bottom, it is prone to rot. So Im just looking for any other possible solutions before I return these doors. I think custom made doors are going to be too expensive.

I am not sure if they still make them, as I haven't seen them or had a need for them in a long time, but there were companies out there making steel replacement doors to fit any application. I think that might be something to look into.

Here is one that I found on the internet that might help give you an idea of what I mean
