Hanging a lead plated beveled glass wood framed window

I would like to hang a lead plated beveled glass wood framed vintage window on our wall. It is approximately 3'10" wide by 1'5" tall. I was thinking of attaching two chains on top of the frame - one on each end, and then somehow hang it on the wall. I am not sure how to attach these chains to the wood frame, or how to attach fasteners on the wall to hang the chains from.

Or is there a better way to hang this vintage window. It is quite heavy - I would guess more than 20 pounds.

Install two heavy duty screw eyes on top of the frame.
Drive two open-end screws into the studs.
Use two chains, from the screw-eyes to the open-end screws, to hang the frame.
Make sure it's leveled.

Thanks for the info. I had to look up what an open eye screw was so I learned that, too! I can visualize what you are suggesting and can see how that would work. Thanks for the suggestion.
