gutterguards

The gutterguard keeps migrating off the end of the gutter. Should I rivet the 10 ft sections of gutterguards together, or should I rivet them to the gutter itself? I usually have to get up there and free them from the adhesive from the roof shingles and reposition them, only to have them migrate off the end of the gutter.

I have seen them riveted to the gutters many times. Here in hurricane alley its a good idea.

Re: gutterguards

I have a suggestion.I have plastic guards from Lowes that are three feet long.I slid the top edge under the lowest shingle and then used very short Aluminum sheet metal screws and attached the front of the guard to the gutter. The wind does not blow them off and if I need to remove the guard it simply a matter of unscrewing and removing the guards whether it be one or more.Perhaps this idea might work for you.I am not sure what your guards look like or are made of.

Without seeing your gutterguards, attaching them is a good idea.
